Summary
We are currently recruiting for E-Commerce Operatives in the Welshpool Area. This company is well-established and are looking for candidates to help with their influx of business over the festive period. This position also has the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidates. This is a fantastic local company who have expanded over the years and cover a huge range of retail products.
This is a full-time position and the working hours are as follows:
Day Shift: Monday – Friday: 08:00 – 17:00 (£10.50 Per Hour)
Afternoon shift: Monday – Friday: 14:00 – 22:00 (£11.20 Per Hour
Some weekend work may be required during busy periods.
Main roles and responsibilities
Taking deliveries of goods and ensure that the booking in and transportation of all stock is correct.
Complete the process of picking stock and loading it onto pallets as required
Complete the process of picking and packing various orders for the busy e-commerce department.
Operate all equipment safely and in a timely manner – all training for this MHE equipment will be provided.
Assist with the unloading and loading of vehicles. This will be both manual and with a forklift.
Ensure the high levels of housekeeping are upheld.
Ensure that paperwork is accurate and keep all records are kept up to date to ensure stock accuracy.
Assist with loading stock onto the warehouse racking safely both manually and with a forklift.
Flexibility with working in other departments as you may be required to assist with processing in the returns department as required.
Undergo checks within quality control – Ensuring that orders have been packed correctly.
Perform any necessary stock checks on stock that has been stored within the warehouse.
This position will have some manual lifting, working outside in all weathers and some working at height.
Having an up-to-date FLT licence would be desirable, but not essential as there are training opportunities available after the completion of your probationary period.
Uniform will be provided by the company, and you will receive up to 20% discount after a successful probationary period.
