This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for driving and the desire to work in the fast-paced driving industry.Responsibilities:- Safely and efficiently operate a HGV Class 1 vehicle, adhering to all relevant traffic regulations and company guidelines.- Conduct pre and post journey vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.- Plan and execute delivery routes in the most time-effective manner, considering traffic conditions and delivery deadlines.- Comply with all relevant health and safety procedures, ensuring the secure transportation of goods.- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients and handling delivery documentation.- Effortlessly adapt to changes in delivery schedules and manage unforeseen challenges in a professional manner.- Maintain accurate records of delivery schedules, vehicle maintenance, and mileage.Qualifications and Attributes:- Hold a valid HGV Class 1 license with no more than six penalty points.- Possess an up-to-date CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.- Proven experience and confidence in driving HGV Class 1 vehicles, with an excellent driving record.- Familiarity with digital tachographs and experience in completing appropriate documentation.- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to ensure effective interaction with clients and colleagues.- A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.- Attention to detail and a methodical approach to ensure the accuracy of documentation and records.- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks, as required.Pay Rate: £16.00 per hourTo apply for this exciting opportunity, please exclusively visit our website workchain.co.uk.
