Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any defects or maintenance requirements promptly.4. Accurately complete all necessary paperwork, including delivery notes and mileage records.5. Effectively communicate with the transport office and other team members, providing regular updates on progress and any issues encountered.7. Adhere to delivery schedules and deadlines, maximizing efficiency and minimizing delays.
Qualifications Required:
1. Valid UK driving license with HGV Class 2 entitlement.2. A minimum of 2 years' experience as a HGV driver, with a proven track record of safe and reliable driving.3. Excellent knowledge of driving regulations and tachograph rules.4. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively liaise with customers, colleagues, and transport office personnel.5. A well-organized and detail-oriented approach, ensuring accuracy in completing paperwork and adhering to schedules.6. Ability to work independently and effectively manage time.
