Summary
HGV Class 2 Driver in Stoke-on-Trent
We're currently recruiting for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers for our client based in Fenton, ST4. This is a great opportunity to obtain on the road experience within the driving industry delivering for a well known client within the area.
Key Responsibilities:- Safely and efficiently operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle, adhering to all relevant road traffic regulations and safety guidelines.- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to designated locations, maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service.- Assist in loading and unloading, ensuring the secure transportation of goods.- Conduct daily vehicle checks, reporting any maintenance issues promptly to the appropriate authorities.- Complete all necessary paperwork and logbooks accurately, providing relevant details of each journey.- Demonstrate excellent time management and route-planning skills to ensure efficient delivery schedules.- Uphold a clean and organised working environment within the vehicle, promoting a positive image of the company at all times.
Qualifications Required:- Valid HGV Class 2 license, with an up-to-date CPC qualification.- A proven track record as a competent and experienced HGV driver.- Familiarity with Stoke-on-Trent and surrounding areas is highly desirable.- Good knowledge of road regulations and driving best practices.- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.- A commitment to maintaining high levels of health and safety.- Strong communication and customer service skills.- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Pay rates for this position are between £12.00 to £14.00 DOE.
