We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Class 1 Driver to join our client's team in Lutterworth, UK, on a temporary basis.Key Responsibilities:- Safely and efficiently transport goods across designated routes, ensuring timely deliveries- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its roadworthiness- Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies- Collaborate with the warehouse team to load and unload goods- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any issues or discrepancies- Provide exceptional customer service and represent the company in a professional manner- Report any vehicle malfunctions or accidents immediately to the relevant authorities- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of yourself and othersQualifications:- Hold a valid Class 1 driving license, with relevant CPC and Digi card- Previous experience as a Class 1 Driver in the UK driving industry is essential- A good understanding of current tachograph legislation- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with colleagues and customers effectively- Excellent time management and organizational skills- A proactive and responsible approach towards ensuring safety on the road- Ability to work independently and as part of a teamPay Rate:The pay rate for this role is between £14.00 - £17.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.To apply:Interested candidates are kindly invited to apply directly through our website at www.workchain.co.uk.
