If you have excellent driving skills and wish to embark on an exciting opportunity, we want to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:- Safely operate a 7.5 Tonne vehicle, ensuring adherence to all road and traffic regulations.- Complete daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and report any faults or issues promptly.- Efficiently load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and securement at all times.- Deliver goods to various locations around Scunthorpe and possibly the surrounding areas, following scheduled routes.- Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining a professional image during interactions with clients and customers.- Obtain necessary documentation, such as delivery notes, ensuring accuracy and completion.- Maintain neat and accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.- Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure efficient loading and unloading processes.- Assist in general warehouse duties as required, contributing to a smooth operation.Qualifications/Requirements:- Valid and clean UK driving license (Category C1), allowing you to operate a 7.5 Tonne vehicle.- Proven experience in driving a 7.5 Tonne vehicle, preferably within a commercial setting.- A good understanding of road regulations and safe driving practices.- Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach.- Strong organizational skills with the ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines.- Physical fitness and manual handling ability, as the role may require loading and unloading goods.- Proactive attitude, taking responsibility for the quality and completion of all tasks.- A reliable and flexible approach, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.This is a temporary position with a pay rate of £13.00 per hour, offering a fantastic opportunity to work within a respected company in the driving industry.To apply for this position, please visit our website at workchain.co.uk and complete the online application form.
