Job Title: Temporary 7.5 Tonne Driver Workchain, a leading UK-based recruitment agency, is currently seeking a skilled and reliable 7.5 Tonne Driver on behalf of our esteemed client in Scunthorpe. This is a temporary position in the Driving industry, offering a competitive pay rate of £13.00 per hour. Responsibilities:- Safely and efficiently operate a 7.5-tonne vehicle, adhering to all relevant traffic laws and regulations.- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, ensuring that all defects are reported promptly.- Load and unload goods, ensuring that they are properly secured to prevent damage during transportation.- Plan and follow the most efficient routes to maximize delivery times and minimize fuel consumption.- Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining a professional attitude and appearance at all times.- Collect and verify all necessary documentation related to deliveries, accurately recording details and obtaining signatures as required.- Communicate effectively with the logistics team and clients, providing updates on delivery status and addressing any issues that may arise.- Adhere to health and safety guidelines, ensuring the safety of both yourself and others on the road.Qualifications:- Hold a valid UK driving license with category C1 entitlement.- Possess a valid CPC driver qualification card.- Have a clean driving record, free from any major violations or endorsements.- Previous experience in a similar driving role is preferred but not essential.- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices.- Excellent time management and organizational skills.- A positive and professional attitude with exceptional customer service skills.- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.- Comfortable with manual handling tasks as required for loading and unloading goods.To apply for this exciting opportunity, interested candidates should visit workchain.co.uk and complete the online application form.
