I am an independent, fun, friendly, active and driven 31-year-old lady with cerebral palsy. I am looking to build up a team of personal assistants for myself. You will be working just with me, 1 on 1. I am an independently-minded wheelchair user and I require only physical help with tasks.

To apply for this role you must be:
- A MANUAL GEARBOX DRIVER aged 25 and over (for insurance purposes)
- A NON SMOKER due to my asthma
- Full of energy and motivation
- Able to use your own initiative
- Have excellent timekeeping and organisational skills
- Be reliable, patient and trustworthy
- Be able to work extra sickness and holiday cover as part of your contracted hours, INCLUDING WEEKENDS
- Honesty and a good sense of humour are essential!
Tasks Include:
- Transport and trips outside of the house, driving a medium wheelchair-accessible van
- Day-to-day personal care – (hoisting, washing, dressing, female hygiene, toileting, support with eating and drinking)
- Upkeep of the house - cooking, cleaning, washing, ironing
- Night-time support occasionally if needed
Shifts:
- Variable 24 or 36-hour shifts are available Sunday to Friday. Can be flexible on days.
- Also, Saturday daytimes need covering as extra, 10 am to 6.30 pm
- Breaks of course included
- Full training will be provided
Salary:
- £15 hourly rate between 8 am - 11 pm
- £140 sleep in

I consider myself to be a very friendly and accommodating employer. I am good to my long-standing staff and have a good sense of humour.
- You will be required to have a fully enhanced DBS check for the role
