I am an independent, fun, friendly, active and driven 31-year-old lady with cerebral palsy. I am looking to build up a team of personal assistants for myself. You will be working just with me, 1 on 1. I am an independently-minded wheelchair user and I require only physical help with tasks.

To apply for this role you must be:

A MANUAL GEARBOX DRIVER aged 25 and over (for insurance purposes)
A NON SMOKER due to my asthma
Full of energy and motivation
Able to use your own initiative
Have excellent timekeeping and organisational skills
Be reliable, patient and trustworthy
Be able to work extra sickness and holiday cover as part of your contracted hours, INCLUDING WEEKENDS
Honesty and a good sense of humour are essential!

Tasks Include:

Transport and trips outside of the house, driving a medium wheelchair-accessible van
Day-to-day personal care – (hoisting, washing, dressing, female hygiene, toileting, support with eating and drinking)
Upkeep of the house - cooking, cleaning, washing, ironing
Night-time support occasionally if needed

Shifts:

Variable 24 or 36-hour shifts are available Sunday to Friday. Can be flexible on days.
Also, Saturday daytimes need covering as extra, 10 am to 6.30 pm
Breaks of course included
Full training will be provided

Salary:

£15 hourly rate between 8 am - 11 pm
£140 sleep in

You will be required to have a fully enhanced DBS check for the role
