- Veterinary Surgeon who has not completed RCVS approved NVS training course will be appointed at Grade 8 (£47,085-£55,895 including Oxford University weighting of £1,500 per year pro rata) for 1 year, in order to complete the NVS training and gain experience. After which they will move on to Grade 9. Named Veterinary Surgeon who has completed RCVS approved NVS training course: £54,315- £62,698 (with a discretionary ranging to £68,357 p.a) including Oxford University weighting. Plus excellent University of Oxford benefits.
