You’ll also have experience of leading multifunctional teams to deliver optimal sourcing solutions which deliver significant and measurable benefits. You’ll have strong and successful negotiating skills as well as experience of contract management. You’ll have a solid understanding of contract law and the ability to draft contracts with minimal support from legal professionals. Finally, you’ll have knowledge of the latest purchasing theory and practice including awareness of the latest e-procurement tools. A CIPS qualification would be highly desirable.
