Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver (Permanent) – LincolnWorkchain, a leading UK-based recruitment agency, is currently working with our esteemed client in the Driving industry to fill the position of HGV Class 1 Driver in Lincoln. We are seeking qualified and highly motivated individuals to join our client's team.Responsibilities:- Safely and efficiently operate an HGV Class 1 vehicle in compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations.- Transport goods and materials to various destinations in a timely and professional manner.- Conduct pre- and post-journey inspections of the vehicle, ensuring any defects or issues are reported promptly.- Maintain accurate records of driver activities, including delivery paperwork and time sheets.- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and procedures, ensuring the safety of yourself, colleagues, and members of the public.- Collaborate effectively with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.Qualifications:- Valid HGV Class 1 license and relevant CPC qualification.- Extensive experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver, preferably in a similar role within the driving industry.- A clean driving record with no endorsements or disqualifications.- Good knowledge of both local and national road networks.- Familiarity with transport and logistics procedures, including tachograph regulations and vehicle safety.Pay Rate: £15 - £18 per hourTo apply:To take advantage of this exciting opportunity, please visit our website at workchain.co.uk and complete the online application form.
