Summary
We’re looking for a warm, dedicated, and enthusiastic Carer to join our supportive team at Grenham Bay Care Home on the day shift. This is a rewarding role where you’ll make a real difference every day—helping residents feel comfortable, valued, and truly at home.
Key Responsibilities
• Daily living support — Provide personal care, mobility assistance, and support with everyday tasks that promote independence.
• Mealtime assistance — Assist with meals, hydration, and healthy routines throughout the day.
• Positive environment — Contribute to a warm, friendly, and uplifting atmosphere for residents.
• Record keeping — Maintain accurate care notes and report any changes in residents’ well being.
• Team collaboration — Work closely with colleagues to deliver consistent, high quality care.
• Emotional and social support — Encourage engagement, conversation, and meaningful social interaction.
About You
• Experience in care is welcome but not essential—we provide full training.
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care is an advantage, not a requirement.
• Friendly, patient, and reliable, with a naturally caring approach.
• A strong team player with excellent communication skills.
• Passionate about supporting residents and making each day positive and fulfilling.
