Summary

This role will, along with a small team of staff, successfully commission and contract manage Social Care Transport contracts to deliver effective, efficient and safe transport for residents of Cheshire West and Chester.
You will ensure that services are delivered in line with Service Level Agreements and policies.
This post will be a combination of home working and office based to fit around business need; the main office location is based in Ellesmere Port.
We are looking for a highly organised, proactive and solutions focused Transport Operations Officer, who will be responsible for the management of a small team.
The role is essential in supporting the efficient delivery of services by providing commissioning duties and operational management of Transport contracts.
You will be required to work collaboratively across departments ensuring high standards of service are provided.
You will ensure that services are delivered in line with Service Level Agreements, contractual terms and conditions, policies and procedures.
You will have experience in contract management, ideally in a transport environment. You will be able to demonstrate experience in the management of staff, application of policy and budget management. Recognising the administration requirements that these areas will involve.
