As a Receptionist / Security Officer with ISS UK, you will play a key role in creating a safe and secure environment, protecting colleagues, customers, and assets through professional security operations, while providing a welcoming and professional front-of-house presence on site.

The Role

Always ensure the safety and security of the site and all individuals present

Remain vigilant and proactively identify and respond to any suspicious activity

Prevent any unauthorised access to the premises through effective security procedures

Maintain awareness of on-site activities and daily operations to support effective service delivery

Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with customers and colleagues

Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures and promptly report any hazards or breaches

Work effectively both independently and as part of a team, depending on site requirements

About You

Previous experience within a security, reception, or customer-facing environment is preferred

Hold a valid front-line SIA licence (Security Guarding, Door Supervision, or Close Protection)

Knowledge and experience of security systems and related technology

Experience in a reception or front-of-house environment, including managing visitors, handling enquiries, and creating a professional first impression

Strong attention to detail with a consistent and methodical approach to tasks

Reliable team player with excellent customer service and communication skills, both face-to-face and over the phone

Professional appearance and demeanour, with the ability to represent the organisation positively at all times

Willingness to learn and develop professionally
