Summary

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Charnwood to assist with the appointment of a Business Support Officer, on a 6-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £12.71 - £16.51 per hour

Summary:

Business Support Officer responsible for providing administrative support to the Damp, Mould & Disrepair Team, ensuring cases are accurately recorded, monitored, and progressed to resolution. The role involves managing case information, supporting contractors and technical officers, handling customer enquiries, producing performance data, and helping improve housing conditions for tenants.

Responsibilities:

Manage and track damp, mould, and disrepair cases from referral through to resolution.
Raise repair orders, book appointments, process invoices, and maintain accurate records.
Liaise with tenants, contractors, surveyors, technical officers, and legal services.
Respond to customer enquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner.
Support contract management and monitor case progress against targets.
Produce reports, performance data, and management information.
Essentials:

Previous experience in an administrative or business support role.
Good IT skills with experience using databases and Microsoft Office applications.
Experience working in a customer-focused environment.
Strong administrative and case management experience.
Accurate and efficient data entry skills.
Experience raising work orders, booking appointments, and processing invoices.
