About me
A friendly lady in her early 60s, who is a wheelchair user and lives with Multiple
Sclerosis (MS), is seeking a reliable and compassionate Female Personal
Assistant to provide support in her home in St Albans (AL4).
Due to the progression of her condition, she is unable to walk or use her hands
and requires assistance with day-to-day living tasks to help maintain her comfort,
independence, and quality of life.
Hours and rate of
pay
12 hours per week
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
10:00am – 1:00pm
£14.50 – £16.00 per hour
Location
St Albans (AL4)
DBS/Checks
Confirmation of DBS check required
Right to Work documentation and references will be needed
Training
Training will be offered to enable to complete the mandatory training required:
• Safeguarding
• Introduction to first aid
• Health and Safety
What you would
be doing…
Preparing simple breakfasts and lunches
Assisting with eating and drinking, including making tea and other refreshments
Carrying out light household duties such as cleaning and laundry
Providing companionship and social interaction during the mornings
Supporting with basic computer tasks, including emails
Walking a small dog if able (desirable but not essential)

Be female
Be friendly, patient, and approachable
Have an awareness or experience of working in a caring or support role
Be able to carry out household tasks efficiently and independently
Have good communication skills

Have basic computer skills
No hoist use is required for this role.
