Summary
Perfect Household Staff is delighted to present an excellent opportunity for a professional, detail-oriented, and proactive Housekeeper to join a well-established private household located in Bristol. The household comprises two adult principals and two small dogs and is supported by a domestic team. The principals are seeking a friendly and confident Housekeeper with excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the confidence to liaise directly with the PA when required. This is initially a temporary position covering the family’s current Housekeeper; however, due to the family's plans to expand their household team, there is genuine potential for the role to develop into a permanent opportunity for the right candidate.
This is a live-out, self-employed position based in Bristol, a vibrant and highly desirable city offering excellent amenities, transport connections, and easy commuting options. The property is easily accessible by public transport. The schedule consists of three working days per week: Tuesday and Friday from 10:00am to 4:00pm, and Wednesday from 10:00am to 1:00pm, offering a structured and consistent routine. Working as a Housekeeper within this household requires a proactive approach, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to maintain exceptionally high standards throughout a 4 floor 2 bedroom residence featuring specialist finishes, a cinema room, library, natural stone surfaces, and marble.
Working as a Housekeeper in this household involves maintaining immaculate presentation throughout the property while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the home alongside a cleaner. Responsibilities include detailed housekeeping, deep cleaning, coordinating laundry requirements with the household Laundress, caring for delicate garments and valuable household items, wardrobe management, preparing guest bedroom, changing bed linen, monitoring household supplies, maintaining refrigerator organisation and monitoring food freshness expiry dates, and occasionally assisting with feeding the family’s two small dogs.
This role would suit a professional Housekeeper who is observant, confident, approachable, and able to work collaboratively within a household team while maintaining exceptional standards at all times.
