Summary
This position is a Religious Worker. Under the guidance of church leadership the applicant will be supporting the children's and youth engagement activities align with the church charitable objectives.
Support community events or outreach projects that promote christian values.
Performing any other role that may be assigned by the Senior Shepherd. This includes -
1. Spiritual Leadership
Leading worship services, prayer meetings, and revivals.
Teaching and explaining the Bible and church doctrines.
Encouraging members to live according to Christian principles.
Providing spiritual guidance and counseling.
2. Prayer and Intercession
Praying for members, families, communities, and nations.
Conducting special prayer sessions for healing, deliverance, and spiritual growth.
Supporting members during times of difficulty or crisis.
3. Evangelism and Outreach
Preaching the gospel to non-members.
Organizing evangelistic programs and crusades.
Encouraging church growth through outreach activities.
4. Pastoral Care
Visiting members who are sick, elderly, bereaved, or in need.
Counseling individuals, couples, and families.
Conducting weddings, funerals, naming ceremonies, and other church rites as authorized.
5. Maintaining Church Discipline
Promoting obedience to church rules and regulations.
Helping resolve disputes among members.
Encouraging moral conduct and spiritual accountability.
6. Administrative Responsibilities
Assisting in the organization and management of church activities.
Keeping records where required.
Supporting parish leadership in planning programs and events.
7. Training and Mentoring
Teaching new converts and younger members.
Training workers and future church leaders.
Organizing Bible studies and spiritual development programs.
8. Upholding Celestial Church Traditions
Ensuring that worship practices, liturgy, and ordinances are conducted according to the teachings and constitution of the church.
Preserving the spiritual heritage and values established by Samuel Bilewu Joseph Oshoffa.
