Job Overview
Our client is looking for a reliable Loading Shovel Operator to start tomorrow in Needingworth.
Duties:
Precisely scooping materials from excavation areas or stockpiles using the loading shovel.
Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Assist in the loading and unloading of materials, ensuring proper handling and storage.
Collaborate with team members to execute tasks effectively, adhering to project timelines.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Report any mechanical issues or concerns to the supervisor promptly for resolution.
Performing daily machine checks, reporting defects, and maintaining operational records.
Skills:
Proven experience in commercial driving, with a valid driver's licence appropriate for operating heavy machinery.
Experience operating excavators is highly desirable, along with familiarity with other agricultural or construction machinery.
Excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices in all operations.
Pay & Hours
The role is paying £22ph on a 10 hour day. The hours will be 07:00hrs to 17:00hrs.
