Job Title: Youth Coach
Location: Reddish Hall School, Stockport, SK5 6UY
Hours: 37.5 per week | Monday to Friday | 8.00am – 4.00pm
Salary: £22,641.44 per annum (not pro rata)
Contract: Permanent | Term Time Only

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Youth Coach to support a young person accessing a bespoke education plan, including off-site provision. This role involves a high level of independence, responsibility and creativity in planning and delivering meaningful, engaging activities.
You will act as the young person’s key worker, ensuring consistent communication between school, home and external professionals. You will also take ownership of aspects of their timetable, support their emotional wellbeing, and contribute to their academic progress.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting academic progress under the guidance of teaching staff
Monitoring and reporting on the young person’s progress
Acting as the main point of communication for school, home and external agencies
Writing risk assessments and pre-visit assessments
Working closely with the SENCO and Wellbeing Co-ordinator to plan appropriate activities
Transporting the young person to off-site activities
Maintaining accurate academic and safeguarding records
Undertaking relevant training and supporting elsewhere in school when required
About You
Maths and English GCSE (Grade 4/C and above) or equivalent.
Resilience, patience and a commitment to the wellbeing of young people
High degree of computer literacy
Good understanding of SEN
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Driving licence required
