Summary
We are looking for calm, caring and reliable PA to help support an individual with Alzheimer’s in the home. The role would involve some personal care, ensuring the individual is eating, drinking fluids and also keeping the individual company and be there as someone to have a conversation with.
This role would include helping the individual to get ready in the morning, this might include helping them to shower, helping them brush their teeth and help them with breakfast. There would also be a visit around lunchtime, and this may involve some personal care and will involve preparing lunch for the individual. There would also be a visit in the evening, and this is more like a companion visit.
On Monday, Friday and Saturday there would be a morning visit at around 8:30 for an hour to help the individual shower, get dressed brush teeth etc. This will also include supporting breakfast and morning coffee.
There will also be a visit in the afternoon, and this will be for about 2 hours from about 1:30. This visit will include supporting with lunch, personal care, companionship and maybe going for a walk with mum.
There will also be a visit between 4:30 and 5:30 and this will involve provide a bit of companionship and personal care.
On a Tuesday and Wednesday this will involve a visit at around 7:15 for 45 minutes and involve getting the individual up and getting them ready for the day.
There will also be a visit at around 4:15 and this will involve a coffee, companionship and a bit of personal care.
