Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Support Officer at Grade 7 level to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in coordinating project activities, facilitating communication across teams, and maintaining accurate documentation. The Project Support Officer will act as a central point of contact for project stakeholders and support project managers by tracking progress, managing schedules, and preparing reports. Responsibilities
Provide administrative and operational support to project managers and teams.
Coordinate project schedules, meetings, and logistics ensuring efficient use of resources.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation and records.
Monitor project progress and assist in preparing status reports and presentations.
Facilitate communication among project stakeholders and escalate issues as appropriate.
Support budget tracking and assist in managing project financial records.
Assist in risk management activities by identifying potential issues and suggesting mitigation strategies.
Organize and support project reviews, audits, and post-project evaluations.
Requirements
Proven experience in a project support or administrative role within a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with diverse stakeholders.
Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and project management software.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to proactively identify and resolve issues.
Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies is desirable.
