You will be required to work Monday-Friday, 09.00-17.00 (40 hours/week). There may also be some additional ad hoc hours and babysitting, but these hours will be mutually agreed and paid as overtime.

• Helping with nursery runs if required.
• Planning fun, age-appropriate activities and play.
• Preparing healthy and nutritious meals and snacks for the children.

• Providing an extra pair of hands around the home to help the household run smoothly between regular cleans (emptying the dishwasher, running the vacuum round if required, running errands, etc).
• Supporting the parents during busy periods while encouraging the children’s development and independence.
The ideal candidate will be:
• Warm, caring and reliable.
• Keen to build a career in childcare.
• Confident engaging with children of different ages.
• Organised, proactive and happy to help wherever needed.
• Able to work as part of a family team.
• A careful and confident driver with a clean licence (duty car available)
Previous childcare experience through babysitting, nursery work, nannying, family support would be advantageous, but the family are equally happy to consider someone with the right attitude and a willingness to learn.
