Summary
Are you an experienced Nursery Deputy Manager looking for a flexible leadership opportunity?
Action Staffing Ltd is recruiting on behalf of our client for a dedicated Nursery Deputy Manager to join a well-established nursery in Warrington (WA4) on a part-time maternity cover contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Early Years professional to support the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of the nursery while maintaining high standards of childcare, education, and safeguarding.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Nursery Manager with the daily operation of the nursery.
Lead and support the nursery team to deliver outstanding childcare and education.
Ensure compliance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and safeguarding requirements.
Monitor children's learning and development.
Build positive relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals.
Support staff supervision, mentoring, and professional development.
Ensure health & safety and nursery policies are followed at all times.
Promote a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children.
Candidate Requirements
Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or above.
Previous experience as a Deputy Manager, Room Leader, or Senior Nursery Practitioner.
Good knowledge of the EYFS framework, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements.
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Enhanced DBS check required before employment.
