Personal Assistant
A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF
I am an 11-year-old boy, with ASD and ADHD, living in the Llanrumney area of Cardiff.
I really enjoy shopping especially in IKEA and Dunelm as well as going to Starbucks or coffee shops. I also enjoy going swimming, cinema, and music; I play the drums, keyboard and guitar. My special interest is PC gaming and coding. I am looking to recruit a Personal Care Assistants to support me with my weekly activities.
PURPOSE OF JOB
Supporting me to access activities within the community.
PLACE OF WORK

HOURS OF WORK
3 hours a week term time and 6 hours a week in school holidays
RATE OF PAY
£15.55 per hour
TASKS INVOLVED
Keeping me safe by supporting me to access activities in the local community.
Supervising me in the pool whilst swimming.
Supporting me to socialise out and about.

ABOUT THE JOB
Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A probation period will be necessary in the first instance. Wages will be paid 4 weekly. You will receive 5.6 weeks paid holiday (pro rata). You will be required to apply for a DBS check at no expense to you. Support cannot be carried out in the personal assistant’s own home.
