Summary
Description
I am a 42 year old gentleman living in the Gwaun Cae Gurwen area of Neath Port Talbot. I suffer from multiple health conditions and difficulties that impact my life daily. Many things I used to enjoy doing I am no longer able to, due to my health limitations, but they are gardening, fishing, drawing/painting and playing the guitar or other stringed instruments.

Watching movies / going to the cinema
Bands and live music
I also enjoy watching TV programmes or read to further my knowledge.
I am looking for a PA to help me access the community and to do things that I enjoy. My PA will also need to support and prompt/motivate me as sometimes this can be difficult for me to do myself. My PA will also need to support me to attend medical and dental appointments where necessary.
Purpose
Tasks include:
Supporting me to medical appointments such as blood tests, dentist, doctors etc.
Help me to get out and about in the community
To motivate me in general
Person Type

Someone who is bilingual as I am a Welsh speaker

Driving license and own car essential for this role

If requested by the employer, two satisfactory references must be provided. This post is subject to a trial period of 1 month and a probationary period of up to 6 months.
Wages will be paid on a 4 weekly or monthly basis once a valid National Insurance (NI) number has been provided. You must be eligible to work in the UK and your employer will conduct document checks prior to commencement.
You will receive the appropriate annual leave entitlement as well as all other statutory entitlements, details of which will be set out in your contract of employment. You will also be issued with a Personal Assistants Handbook when your employment commences.
You will be expected to undertake any mandatory training identified as relevant to this post. The cost of mandatory training will be met through the direct payment. Failure to attend mandatory training may result in your employment offer being withdrawn.
