Summary
Job role: Class 2 driver (new passes Accepted) / Drainage Operative
Location: Welwyn Garden City
Salary: £40,000
Term: Perm
we are currently looking to recruit an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver / Drainage Operative on a permanent basis .
• Hours: Monday to Friday, typically starting between 7:00am and 8:00am
• On-call rota: Approximately 1 weekend per month
Working locations covering London/home counties and sometimes further afield
Essential requirements:
• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence (New passes accepted)
• Current Driver CPC qualification
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Good understanding of vehicle safety and compliance
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
Preferred experience:
• Drainage industry experience
• Knowledge of drainage systems, jetting, CCTV surveys, blocked drains, or wastewater networks
• Experience operating specialist drainage vehicles and equipment
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating specialist drainage vehicles, attending customer sites, carrying out drainage-related works, completing vehicle checks, and providing excellent customer service.
