Summary

Job Title: Casual Care Worker / Personal Assistant

Description: A casual care worker / Personal assistant is required by the employer, a 35-year-old woman, to assist with their personal requirements. They are looking for someone who is reliable, flexible and trustworthy.

Rate of Pay: £13.45 gross per hour

Casual Care worker/ personal assistant required to cover holiday and sickness on an ad hoc as and when required basis.

An example of Shift Patterns you may be asked to cover are:

Monday 10 30am until 3 30pm or 12 30pm until 5 30pm (rotates every 4/5 weeks)

Tuesday 10 30am until 2 30pm

Thursday 10 30am until 2 30pm

Friday 09 00am until 3pm (every 5 weeks) or 10 30am until 2 30pm and 5 30pm until 7 30pm

Saturday 10 30am until 3 30pm or 10 30am until 1 30pm and 5 30pm until 7 30pm

However flexibility required as times may vary but can be discussed

Location: Grangemouth


A reliable and trustworthy person able to take direct instruction is required to assist with all aspects of:

Assisting with preparing and cooking meals
Assisting with personal care (showering only)
Assisting to access the community

Any other duties that are relevant and pertinent to the role of carer / personal assistant.

The successful applicant should have a good history and experience of providing care and support.

Experience of working with children/older people/people with disabilities/mental health. The employer requires care in many aspects of daily life therefore flexibility is required.

SVQ Level 2 or above in health and social care preferred but not essential

You must be able to work with a team, however support will mostly on a one-to-one basis.

As driving will be required as part of this role, the successful applicant should have a full driving license.

Applicants must have membership of Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) or be willing to join this scheme.
