About the role
This is the first time this position has been advertised in more than a decade. Previous post-holders have moved on to bigger things in Communication roles. If you have left college or uni with a commuications background, or you’re looking at your next move – then don’t miss out.
Local Government is going to get very interesting in the next few years and you’ll be helping keep the people that matter – our residents, businesses, and your colleagues, properly informed.
To do that you’ll need to be creative. Use initiative. Be robust enough to continue producing top stuff when the going gets tough. And it does. Your work will be seen by thousands – and many will have their own opinion of it!
About you
You will have:
• A passion and enthusiasm for all things communications
• Some experience of working in a communications role
• At least a bit of knowledge about local government
• The confidence to sell your ideas to the Communications Team and other colleagues
