Summary
Duties
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Chemical Operative to join our Cadishead team.
Reporting to the Shift Manager, the successful candidate will safely prepare, fill and warehouse hazardous chemicals, load and offload vehicles and work within a team of other Chemical Operatives.
Key Responsibilities
To ensure that MHE is properly presented and operated
To ensure that the correct goods are produced, stored and dispatched in good condition
To ensure the correct completion of documentation
Be compliant to all policies, procedures and legislative requirements
Key Tasks
To work with hazardous liquid chemicals
To ensure material is produced accurately and in line with EHS&Q procedures
To ensure the correct and safe receipt of bulk liquid tankers in to bulk holding tanks
To work with filling machines filling IBC’s, kegs and drums
Ensure all finished material is presented to highest standard in line with internal procedures
We Are Looking For
The successful candidate will have good communication skills, excellent attention to detail and be able to work without supervision when required. It is desirable that the successful candidate also holds FLT license for Counter Balance.
You will be required to complete product movements between tanks, so knowledge of valves, pumps and meters are essential.
The successful candidate will have an ambition to develop and progress within the company
Working a rotating shift of:-
Week 1: 06:00 – 14:30
Week 2: 09:30 – 18:00
