Looking for a role where you can genuinely change a young person's life?
Completely Care is recruiting Residential Support Workers to support children and young people living in residential homes across Oxfordshire.
The young people you will support may have a range of needs, including Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), autism, learning differences, trauma backgrounds, attachment needs, and other complex needs. Every day is different, but your support can make a lasting impact on a young person's confidence, wellbeing, and future.
The Role
As a Residential Support Worker, you will help create a safe, stable, and nurturing environment where children and young people can thrive.
Your duties will include:
• Building positive and trusting relationships with young people
• Supporting with daily routines, activities, education, and appointments
• Encouraging independence, confidence, and life skills development
• Managing challenging behaviour using positive and therapeutic approaches
• Supporting young people with emotional wellbeing and regulation
• Following care plans, behaviour support plans, and risk assessments
• Maintaining accurate records and reports
• Promoting safeguarding and welfare at all times
• Working as part of a dedicated team to achieve positive outcomes for young people
What We're Looking For
• Experience working with children and young people is desirable but not essential
• A caring, resilient, and patient approach
• An interest in supporting young people with EBD, autism, learning disabilities, and complex needs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, waking nights, and sleep-ins
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one
