Summary
New Resource Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Press Brake Operator on behalf of a well-established and growing engineering manufacturer.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual who can confidently set up and operate CNC press brake machinery while maintaining exceptional quality standards and working efficiently within a production environment.
The Role
As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, programming and operating CNC press brake machines to bend, form and shape metal components according to engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Set up, programme and operate CNC press brake machinery
Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
Manufacture components accurately to required tolerances
Carry out routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
Perform quality inspections using measuring equipment such as callipers and gauges
Work efficiently to meet production schedules and deadlines
Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment
Adhere to all company health and safety procedures
About You
We are looking for candidates who possess:
Proven experience operating CNC press brake machinery
The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
Good knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes
The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
A positive, reliable and flexible approach to work
Desirable Experience
Experience using specific press brake controls such as Amada or Bystronic
Previous experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment
Forklift licence (preferred but not essential)
