Summary

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Dispensary RVN or a GPhC Registered Pharmacy Technician to work in The Queen Mother Hospital for Animals, specialising in supporting a wide range of services within a busy small animal referral hospital. This position is ideal for someone with the passion and drive to develop their dispensary career and broaden their knowledge of medications and legislation compliance.

Working as part of our friendly and enthusiastic dispensary team, you will assist with the dispensing of medications for inpatients and outpatients, calculating drug doses, and ordering drugs and consumables to ensure that sufficient stock levels are maintained. The role will involve administrative duties, including organising the dispensary group email inbox to ensure that all queries are answered in a timely manner.

This is a part-time position working 14 hours per week with a pattern of Tuesday – Friday (14:00-17:30).

The successful candidate will have experience and a sound knowledge of drugs, including controlled drugs, stock control, legal compliance, and excellent communication skills.

Full training and support will be provided.
