Summary
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Plymouth to assist with the appointment of a Minute Taker, on a 3.5-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £13.90 - £17.99 per hour
Summary:
The Minute Taker role involves producing accurate, non-verbatim minutes within strict timescales, maintaining accurate records, and supporting effective service delivery while handling sensitive and confidential information.
Responsibilities:
Attend strategy meetings and other CYP statutory meetings to take accurate, non-verbatim minutes.
Summarise complex discussions into clear, concise, and high-quality records.
Accurately record meeting attendance and maintain up-to-date contact information.
Input minute-related information and records onto relevant IT systems.
Ensure all minutes and notes are completed and distributed within departmental timescales.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with data protection and information governance requirements.
Qualification:
GCSE Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration (or equivalent qualification/experience).
Essentials:
Experience using Microsoft Office applications and web-based systems.
Previous administrative experience with a good understanding of office procedures.
Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers.
Experience working effectively as part of a team.
Previous minute-taking and note-taking experience.
