Summary
Car Parts Direct Limited is a growing retailer of new and used vehicle spare parts, operating a physical store and storage yard alongside an established eBay sales channel. As order volumes and inventory grow, the company requires a Business Support Manager to coordinate and strengthen its administrative, e-commerce and operational support functions, supporting the Director in developing accurate, efficient and scalable systems across all sales channels.
Main Duties Include:
• Coordinate the company's daily business-support activities, overseeing order processing, administration, customer service, stock records and dispatch coordination.
• Process and oversee orders received through eBay, email and telephone, ensuring order details, payments, delivery information and customer records are recorded and actioned accurately.
• Maintain the company's digital inventory and product records, update online listings and pricing.
• Supervise and coordinate administrative and customer-support staff, allocating tasks, monitoring performance, identifying training needs and holding regular team meetings.
• Handle and monitor phone and online customer enquiries, complaints, returns, refunds and delivery issues, ensuring they are investigated and resolved professionally and promptly.
• Liaise with suppliers, couriers, contractors and e-commerce platforms, for deliveries, stock shortages, damaged items, outstanding credits and service issues.
Education & Skills:
• Proven experience in business support, administration, operations or project delivery.
• Strong planning, organisational and time-management skills.
• Good working knowledge of business software, spreadsheets and online systems.
• Strong communication and team-coordination skills.
• Good problem-solving, record-keeping and customer-service skills.
