Millison Chase Limited is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers for general haulage work on behalf of our client.
This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and professional drivers looking for ongoing work with competitive rates of pay.
The Role
As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to commercial customers across designated routes. Routes will vary and can involve between 1 and 15 deliveries per shift depending on the area and workload.
Duties will include:
Driving a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle safely and professionally.
Completing between 1 and 15 drops per day depending on the route.
Loading and unloading vehicles where required.
Using a pallet truck to move goods.
Securing loads using straps and other appropriate methods.
Completing vehicle checks and relevant paperwork.
Adhering to all road transport legislation and company procedures.
Requirements
Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
Valid Driver CPC qualification.
Digital Tachograph Card.
Good understanding of drivers' hours and working time regulations.
Previous general haulage experience preferred.
A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
