Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Integrated Access and Referral Team for a Full-Time permanent contract, Family Help and Support Officer. I-Art is the first point of contact for the public and professionals who wish to make a referral in relation to children and their families.
Family Help and Support Officer will understand the councils Continuum of Need in relation to children and families and practically apply this for contacts relating to children and families coming in through the front door. Ensuring that any safeguarding issues are appropriately escalated. Have an ability to consider large amounts of information and produce succinct, analytical reports that identify risk, protective factors, resilience of children, impact on family members, explanation of agency specific language, and provide recommendations based on experience within the field.
