The Children's Residential Support Worker role in our client’s residential homes offers a rewarding environment where every young person receives tailored support to help them lead more independent lives.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 or 2:1 support to children, including those with challenging behaviours
Assist with personal care and daily living activities
Implement personalised care plans effectively
Support young people to engage in activities that promote independence, social skills, and overall well-being
Ensure a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for all residents
Promote positive behaviour and assist in managing challenging situations
Requirements:
Passion for working with children with complex needs and SEN
Patience, empathy, and resilience in challenging situations
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
Right to work in the UK
Flexibility to work shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and nights
