Summary
We are seeking reliable and professional Taxi Drivers to join our team. We have school contracts with Devon County as well as evening, weekend and airport runs available. We're looking to add drivers to our team who have their own vehicle and are badged/plated by either Plymouth City Council or South Hams Council.
Responsibilities
Safely transport passengers to their desired destinations in a timely manner.
Maintain a clean and well-presented vehicle at all times.
Communicate effectively with passengers, providing information about routes, fares, and local attractions.
Conduct regular maintenance checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working order.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
Manage cash and electronic payments accurately and responsibly.
Report any accidents or incidents immediately to the appropriate authorities.
Qualifications
Valid South Hams or Plymouth Taxi License
Licensed vehicle from South Hams or Plymouth
Strong communication skills to interact positively with passengers and address their needs.
Familiarity with local roads and traffic patterns is beneficial.
