Summary
We are currently seeking to appoint a Lecturer / Senior Lecturer to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful applicant will be a registered counsellor/psychotherapist with BACP, UPCA/UKCP or equivalent and have previous experience of teaching or training. The postholder will be able to contribute to our Undergraduate counselling studies programmes and professional training programmes – BACP accredited Foundation Degree in Integrative Counselling, UPCA accredited MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy, BACP accredited MSc in Integrative Counselling and depending on prior experience and professional registration, to our wider portfolio of programmes.
Summary of main essential criteria
To teach on all available Counselling, Psychotherapy & Talking Therapies programmes
To assume the role of programme leader as required
To provide high-quality teaching, learning and assessment in the area of counselling and psychotherapy across a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, depending on academic and clinical specialism and professional accreditation / registration status.
To effectively undertake module leadership, development and administration (including knowledge and understanding of academic regulations) and to contribute to the preparation for course committees, annual reviews and assessment and progression boards.
