Action Staffing Ltd is recruiting on behalf of our client for a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Preschool Room Leader to lead the preschool room within a well-established nursery setting. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident childcare professional who is passionate about supporting children's learning, development, and school readiness.
As Room Leader, you will be responsible for leading your team, maintaining high standards of care and education, and ensuring children receive engaging learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the daily operation of the Preschool Room.
Plan and deliver stimulating activities that support children's development and school readiness.
Supervise, support, and mentor room staff.
Monitor children's progress through observations and assessments.
Build strong partnerships with parents and carers.
Ensure compliance with EYFS, safeguarding, and health and safety requirements.
Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.
Promote high standards of childcare and education throughout the room.
Candidate Requirements
Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or above.
Previous experience working as a Room Leader or Senior Nursery Practitioner.
Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Due to the rural location, being a driver is highly recommended.
Passion for delivering outstanding early years education and care.
Benefits
Salary of £29,000 - £31,000 per annum.
Full-time role working 4 or 4.5 days per week.
30 days annual leave.
5 paid sick days.
On-site parking available.

45-minute lunch break plus an additional 15-minute break.
