What the role involves:
Delivering engaging PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Promoting participation, teamwork, and sportsmanship among students
Planning lessons that cater to a range of abilities and interests
Assessing pupil progress and providing regular feedback
Supporting extracurricular clubs, fixtures, and sporting events
Maintaining high standards of behaviour, safety, and inclusion during practical activities
What you’ll need:
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
Experience teaching PE in a UK secondary school setting
Strong knowledge of a variety of sports and physical activities
Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
