Location: Lincolnshire (county-wide working)

Interviews: 15th July 2026

Liaise, the SEND Information, Advice and Support Service (IASS) for Lincolnshire, is looking to recruit two permanent Caseworkers to join our friendly, dedicated and experienced team.

Liaise Caseworkers provide free, confidential and impartial information, advice and support to children, young people and their parents and carers on matters relating to SEND. The role includes working on the Liaise advice line and managing an active caseload, offering tailored support to meet individual needs.

Due to recent changes in immigration law in the UK we are unable to offer skilled worker visa sponsorship for this role as it does not meet the requirements.

In addition, the role involves:

Delivering workshops and training to professionals, parents, children and young people
Promoting the Liaise service across Lincolnshire
Supporting the ongoing development of the service to ensure it continues to meet IASS National Minimum Standards

The successful candidates will have:

A sound understanding of current SEND practice and relevant legislation
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
Strong listening skills, empathy and the ability to build positive relationships
The ability to remain impartial, manage challenging situations and use negotiation and mediation skills effectively
A flexible and adaptable approach to working with a wide range of families and professionals
The post holders will be required to work across Lincolnshire. You will also be expected to complete the necessary legal training as part of your professional development.
