This is a key management role within the London Probation Service Performance & Quality function, providing leadership to the Serious Further Offence (SFO) Review Team.
You will lead the delivery of high-quality SFO reviews across the region, ensuring they are robust, analytical and focused on identifying learning to improve practice and ensure public protection and transparency for victims.
As Team Manager, you will oversee a specialist team undertaking complex reviews, working with senior leaders and practitioners to provide constructive challenge, ensure accountability, and embed learning. You will play a central role in translating findings into tangible improvements in practice, policy and performance.
While aligned to the Band 06 Senior Operational Support Manager framework, this is a distinct specialist role requiring strong professional credibility, analytical leadership and the ability to manage sensitive work with confidence and integrity.
