Overview
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Lettings Manager to join a well-established and highly regarded estate agency in Cheltenham. This role is ideally suited to a driven and commercially focused lettings professional with a strong background in generating new business, leading teams, and delivering results within a competitive market.

You will take full responsibility for the performance of the lettings department, leading from the front in winning instructions, driving revenue, and ensuring a consistently high standard of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, manage and develop the Lettings team to achieve and exceed targets
Conduct rental valuations and secure new instructions
Drive business generation and increase market share
Oversee the full lettings process from instruction through to move-in
Maintain exceptional levels of customer service for landlords and tenants
Monitor and improve team performance through regular meetings and 1-2-1s
Provide ongoing training, coaching, and support to team members
Ensure full compliance with all lettings legislation and company procedures
Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords and key clients
Manage departmental KPIs, reporting, and overall branch performance

Requirements

Minimum 5 years’ experience within residential lettings, with time spent in a senior or management role
Proven track record in winning new business and driving lettings revenue
Previous team leadership or management experience
Strong valuation and listing experience
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Target-driven with a commercial mindset
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Ability to motivate, develop and lead a team effectively
Full UK driving licence (essential)

Working Hours

Full-time, 5 days per week
Saturdays required (with a day off in lieu)
