The Healthcare Hub is delighted to be working with a well-established, family-focused care provider to recruit an experienced Residential Home Manager for their medium-sized residential home in Hull.
Our client seeking a passionate and hands-on leader who is committed to delivering exceptional care standards while creating a positive culture for both residents and staff.
The Opportunity
As Residential Home Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and person-centred care. You will lead and develop a dedicated care team, maintain regulatory compliance, and work closely with residents and their families to create a home that truly feels like home.
This role would suit an experienced Home Manager or a strong Deputy Manager ready to take the next step in their career.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of the residential home.
Ensure residents receive the highest standards of personalised care and support.
Maintain compliance with CQC regulations and all relevant legislation.
Lead, motivate, and develop the staff team to achieve excellent outcomes.
Create a positive, supportive, and inclusive working environment.
Build strong relationships with residents, relatives, healthcare professionals, and the local community.
Manage staffing levels, recruitment, training, and performance.
Monitor quality assurance systems and drive continuous improvement.
Maintain occupancy levels and support the home's reputation within the local area.
Ensure effective budget management and resource allocation.
Promote safeguarding and resident wellbeing at all times.
Candidate Requirements Essential
Previous experience in a management position within adult social care.
Strong knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory requirements.
Proven ability to lead and develop teams.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Passion for delivering outstanding person-centred care.
Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
Desirable
NVQ Level 5 in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards).
Experience managing a residential elderly care service.
Understanding of dementia care and best practice approaches.
Experience improving quality standards and inspection outcomes.
