Restaurant Manager
Location: Burford House

Hours: Full Time
Hours: 45 Hours Per Week Working Pattern including weekdays & weekends
We are looking for a Restaurant Manager who can demonstrate proven experience in running a successful restaurant and delivering excellent customer service. You will bring enthusiasm, professionalism, and a proactive approach to developing the business.
This is a hands on role where strong teamwork, clear communication, and a passion for creating a great guest experience are essential.
As Restaurant Manager, you will lead and inspire a dedicated team, ensuring the smooth day to day running of the restaurant. You will oversee staff, support service delivery, and confidently handle escalated customer queries or concerns with fairness and care.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
• Experience at management level, ideally within hospitality or a similar fast paced environment
• A genuine passion for guest service and creating memorable experiences
• The ability to work weekends as part of a flexible rota
You will play a key part in shaping a positive, supportive, and high performing team culture — ensuring every customer enjoys a brilliant restaurant experience.

Duties will include:
· Organising team schedules, handling staff issues and authorising holidays.
· Interviewing, hiring, and training new employees.
· Evaluating employee performance and providing training and guidance as needed.
· Managing various department-specific initiatives and ensuring that these are completed within the scope, time, and budget.
· Filling in for absent employees and assisting teams as needed to successfully complete projects.
· Ensuring that employees follow company policies, as well as health and safety regulations.
· Ensuring a high and consistent standard of customer service.
· Business compliance in accordance with Health and safety and food safety laws and regulations.
· Good IT skills – Excel and word.
· Social Media – Facebook.
