Senior Support Worker – Children’s Residential
Location: Lancaster
Salary: £41,346 (includes average of 8 sleep-ins per month)

What You’ll Be Doing
Supporting young people with daily routines (school prep, meals, activities)
Supervising and mentoring a team of support workers
Ensuring the highest standards of care and support
Promoting individuality no “one size fits all” approach
Monitoring care plans and producing reports for management
Providing emotional support and building meaningful relationships
Creating a warm, homely environment (including light housekeeping)
Planning and participating in activities like park trips, movie nights, and creative projects
Accurately updating records using electronic care systems (Clearcare experience beneficial but not essential)

Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for people who truly care and want to make a difference.
You will have:
Minimum 1 year experience in a children’s residential setting
Level 3 qualification in Children’s Residential Care
A full UK manual driving licence
Experience supporting or mentoring team members
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Flexibility to cover shifts
Most importantly you’ll be compassionate, patient, and committed to helping young people thrive.
