Summary
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Early Years Practitioner (Practice Lead) to support the delivery of quality early years education and care across our nursery. Working closely with the Nursery Management team, you will lead high-quality practice, support staff development, oversee curriculum planning, and help ensure positive outcomes for all children.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and promote high-quality early years practice across our nursery rooms.
Support curriculum planning, observations, assessments, and learning journeys.
Monitor and maintain excellent standards of teaching, learning, and care.
Coach, mentor, and support the professional development of staff.
Conduct practice reviews, audits, and contribute to continuous improvement.
Support the identification and inclusion of children with additional needs.
Promote a strong safeguarding culture and ensure compliance with EYFS and statutory requirements.
Assist with the day-to-day operation of the nursery and provide leadership in the manager's absence when required.
Expected start date August/September 26
Essential Requirements
Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above).
At least 2 years' experience working in an early years setting.
Strong knowledge of the EYFS, child development, safeguarding, and statutory requirements.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
